ABOHN has a program of certification by reciprocity for nurses certified in occupational health nursing in Canada.
Individuals holding current certification from the former Canadian Council for Occupational Health Nurses (CCOHN) or the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) may apply for certification as a COHN by reciprocity with ABOHN. The COHN-S credential, which requires a minimum of a baccalaureate degree for eligibility, is available by examination only and cannot be obtained through reciprocity.
